After an update in the last few days mpv keeps crashing with a bus error. Know there are no symbols in the code buy gdb says:

Also libreoffice with some excel files is show the wrong characters in cell - e.g. maybe 30% of charaters it prints a random different character. Now the information is still correct - just the display that is wrong.
This in using weyland on x86_64.
All I can guess is something fairly major has been corruped. So and ideas what I should reinstall to try and fix the problem.
