Running pacman -Syu outputs some conflicts and I'm unsure which ones are more important. Can someone make me understand which ones to choose and why?
[arjun@dm ~]$ sudo pacman -Syu

They are all important. The libdbus and qtchooser ones are well documented on the forums, as for the beanshell2 one, the reasoning for that one is documented on the beanshell package's update history: https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/pack … e38eb31037

Another error from repo.archlinux.fr is not so surprising. That is perpetually broken and will only help spread breakage in your system. Remove it from your pacman.conf and learn to use the AUR properly.
