Looks like my HDD is failing

I just ran an extended self test with gsmartcontrol of my toshiba 3GB HDD. The tool reports
"Overall Health Self-Assessment Test: PASSED", however, the extended self test log reports the that only 90% was completed because of a read error.
Here is the self-test report:

So far I have not experienced any problems with the drive but it looks like I should replace it right? to avoid an imminent data lost. Sadly it is not going to last too long, it has 6774 power on hours (282 days), it has been used as an internal drive and I bought it in april 2015, so it's not so old.

Re: Looks like my HDD is failing

Pending sectors, read failure in selftest, this drive is already dead. If you don't have a backup, you should ddrescue it quickly. If it's not old, see if it still has warranty...

Re: Looks like my HDD is failing

Not sure if you guys saw the last sentence in post #1. tongue

@zwa: Yes, see if you can get it RMA'd. In the mean time, I wouldn't trust that drive with any important files.

Mod note: moving to Kernel/Hardware.
