SSD sometimes fails to turn on after suspend

Hi everyone,

I have a Samsung 850Evo SSD plugged in an ASUS H97Pro MOBO that sometimes fails to turn on after suspend.
here is a part of dmesg that shows many errors regarding sdc (the 850Evo) right after resume. I'll try to get a better log whenever the errors occurs.
As you can see in the photo I'm running linux 4.8 mainline but this error happens on older kernels too.

Any clue on what is causing this to randomly come up?
