PlayonLinux+Steam lib32 issues

Yesterday PlayonLinux started giving me an "unable to find 32bits OpenGL libraries" and running Steam in it crashes after the updater runs. Linux Steam (steam-native-runtime) stopped working at the same time, hanging on "installing breakpad exception handler" which the wiki suggests is a problem with mismatched lib32s.

How do I go about fixing this? I've already tried reinstalling the Nvidia drivers, steam-native-runtime+playonlinux, and the other lib32 libraries listed by Steam with no success.

when running Steam in PlayonLinux:

Re: PlayonLinux+Steam lib32 issues

More info, please. What WE/DM? You said the problem started yesterday -- what changed? Did you update the system? If so, what packages got upgraded? We need more info.

Re: PlayonLinux+Steam lib32 issues

I'm not sure what you mean by WE/DM. Something/display manager? I'm using i3wm with no display manager currently. I'm at work so I'll have to wait until this evening to check what packages were updated. Is there any other info I should probably provide up front? I'm a newbie so I'm not sure what's relevant.

Re: PlayonLinux+Steam lib32 issues

It's my fault -- WE/DM should have been WM/DE for Window Manager/Desktop Environment.
