Nemo doesn't show any indication that I am in the renaming mode

If i tried to rename a selected file by pressing F2, the selected file is not highlighted anymore and Nemo shows nothing to indicate that I am renaming that file.

In the following Images I am currently renaming the third folder on the first row,
