Hello,
My old message was wrong.
I discovered that when I let the screen lock by itself, everything went right. When I click on the Lock Screen button (top right menu), it also moves to sleep (hence the blinking LEDs of the old message).
So, my new question is:
Is there any way to set that the "Lock Screen" button to just "lock screen" and not go to sleep (even when I set hibernation/sleep off for all cases)?

Thanks in advance,
Franz
==== OLD MESSAGE
Whenever I screen lock Gnome 3, both the Power Button light and the Power LED start blinking/flashing which is truly annoying and disturbing.
I've tried to find a solution to turn them off (I can hear the laptop fan, no need to have epileptic seizures with the disco lights).
The closest thing I found was this [1], but I don't see how could I adapt it to my current problem.

Fun part, is that ArchLinux only detects 5 LEDs when I have 6 (power, charging, disc, wireless, numlock, capslock) + power button light. And it adds scrollock when there's no LED for it (at least visible).
ls /sys/class/leds/
input5::capslock input5::numlock input5::scrolllock mmc0:: phy0-ledCould any one point me in the proper direction to nullify the leds, please?
There must be an easier way...
Thanks in advance,
Franz

I've discovered I was wrong in my initial guess, so I've corrected and attached a pic of the real problem.
If any one could help me, it'd be very welcomed.
Sincerely,
Franz
