[GNOME] session corrupted

Hi,

since gnome version 3.22.1 I have several issues. If I only downgrade the package gnome-session to version 3.20.2-1 the issues are mostly gone.

The issues are:
- icons are not drawn on the desktop, instead nautilus opens the files app when logging in.
- the users shell (bash) is not invoked neither in the gnome-terminal nor in the xterm, instead some system default shell is invoked (zsh)
- there are some more changes in the look which are not bothering me and which do not change with downgrading gnome-shell.

Re: [GNOME] session corrupted

Hi drslmr, you should verify if you are logging in with wayland. I had similar issues that was caused by wayland. Before entering your session click on settings below the password box and change it back to xorg.
