I'm using BIOS/gpt with grub, partitions: bios_grub, swap, btrfs-root.
The current "/" is in a btrfs subvolume @arch. The question is: how did grub know, where to find the remaining grub files:
/dev/sda3 --> BTRFS --> subvol=@arch --> /boot/grubI'm asking, because the BTRFS volume has some other snapshots with older versions of /boot/grub.
So grub needs to know, which subvol:
@arch/boot/grub
@arch_2016-09/boot/grub
@arch_2016-10/boot/grub
@arch_2016-11/boot/grubI guess: grub-install knows this and put the info into grub.img, which is placed in the bios_grub partition?
Thanks very much!
