Yesterday I suddenly noticed that the mysqld process opened by akonadi takes more than 1 gig of memory , it should take usually a lot less than that
I tried opening a new user to check if something is wrong with akonadi or some corruption in the local files and I found out that in the new user everything works well so whatever is causing it to go crazy should be in my home folder or somehow related to my user.
I couldn't find how to clear all of akonadi data or where does it keep the mysqld database.
I tried deleting everything that seemed connected to akonadi in .local , .config and .cache in my home folder but it still uses crazy amount of memory.
so does anyone knows where akonadi keeps it's data or how to clear it ? or why did it go crazy ? I would hate to start a new user just because of this..
** I am using plasma 5.
