Hello,
I just bought a netbook and installed Archlinux on it. Everything works fine except this strange issue: after the system is booted the screen goes blank for 10 seconds.
The system is fully loaded: systemd-analyze prints ~4s for the kernel + userspace, and I can see the prompt just before the screen shuts off; I can login and do whatever I want (obviously I can't see anything).
I haven't yet installed X, and there is nothing strange in the log; it prints the recognized inputs just before the screen goes blank; the next log is "kernel: random: crng init done", only when I'm connected from the prompt.
Also I thought about KMS, but it's not related: with 'i915' inside mkinitcpio.conf the screen goes blank for half a second during the boot process, then goes blank a second time. If I try with 'nomodeset' on the boot line the screen doesn't go blank to change its resolution, but will again for this unknown reason.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
