[SOLVED] Weston with --enable-systemd-notify

Hello there. I am not sure this is the best place for such request but I wonder if weston package could be built using also

--enable-systemd-notify

This is apparently the best way to start weston on boot:

/usr/bin/weston --tty=1 --modules=systemd-notify.so

and be notified once it's ready to go, instead of risking possible problems on boot.

This has been suggested in the Wayland ML as best way to go on bootstrap so thank you for consideration.

Best Regards

You should open a feature request on the bug tracker, the chance of the weston packager seeing your topic is slim.

Of course, in the meantime you could always rebuild the weston package yourself and see if it works. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_Build_System

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.
