Is there any way to probe a Bluetooth device for A2DP Codecs

I purchased an MPOW Bluetooth receiver to convert my headphones into Bluetooth headphones.

This is the exact one that I bought:

http://www.xmpow.com/car-accessories/ca … -mbr4.html

I am trying to find out what A2DP codecs this device supports.  I've paired it to my laptop and gotten A2DP to work.

I used hcitool to get info on the device and here is what it shows me:

[xxxx@new-host-6 ~]$ hcitool info E8:07:BF:22:0F:F3

I don't see anything in the features section that tells me what A2DP codecs are supported.

Is there another way to get this info?
