Document cam support in linux

Hi,

Do you know any document cam supported by linux? I think Ziggi HD Plus is supported but not sure. A simple search in search engines gives me nothing.

I highly doubt a search gives you nothing.

Ah, I didn't think about the google bubble. I have specifically disabled as much of google's tracking and tailoring as you can possibly do through the settings.

This specific article on Linux hardware guide seems promising for your case. There is also a patch mentioned for getting manual control of the focus.

Thanks, Daerandin, but the article cited by you has a little information. I think Ziggi has not UVC fully-follower, so I decided to substitute with a normal web cam + standing pole. And it's a little more cheaper.
