Weird diplay flickering on 15" Macbook Pro 11,5 Model:A1398 (EMC 2910)

Hi, pretty new here and trying Arch out for the first time.
I'm having trouble with a flickering display (windows are kind of shaking, sometimes weird artifacts on the whole display, always only for a split-second but very frequently). There seems to be some correlation with input from keyboard or mouse/trackpad but it does also flicker without, just less.

My setup:
15" Macbook Pro 11,5 Model A1398 (EMC 2910): Intel i7, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2 GB of dedicated GDDR5 and Intel Iris 5200 Pro

I'm running Arch with i3 and LightDM
I've installed the Xf86-video-ati driver for the Raedon card.

uname -a:
Linux pogo-mac 4.8.10-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Nov 21 11:55:43 CET 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The Macbook is very new to me and Arch too, so I've ran out of ideas quite quickly... Maybe you got any ideas?

Alright,
as it seems, it might be some kind of issue that's related with the AC power connector (look here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1671723 ).
When I start the Macbook with the power disconnected there is no flickering at all.
