Virtualbox segfaults as user, but runs as root

When I try to run VirtualBox as a regular user, it segfaults. When I run it as root, the program runs correctly. I found some other threads about this issue, and here's the output of the following command:

ld-2.24.so is part of the lib32-glibc package, which is installed on my system. Any idea what's going on here?
