[Solved] Force install "outdated" gnome shell extensions?

I reinstalled my Arch Linux install to clean things up. As a result I can no longer install some of my extensions as they are marked as 'outdated' despite them working in the latest gnome shell through upgrading.

Download the extensions manually off of GitHub then trying to install them manually doesn't work.

I am running Gnome 3.22.2

Extensions that I am trying to get working.

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/ … -terminal/

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1082/cpufreq/

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT

Solution, install the packages as zip files.
