Issue Via Conky

I'm doing some tweaking using conky-manager(I believe it's an AUR package), and whilist enabling gotham-conky, and, well really any other conky setup my shortcut keys seem to become unresponsive, such as my guake dropdown keys(CTRL+`) And the SUPER(Windows)Button. I am fairly new to the distro. If it matters, I'm using XFCE4 As my DE and Emerald as my WM.
(Yes I know Compiz hasn't had a release since 2012, blah blah blah. I seriously don't wanna start this argument ) Thanks For your help

It seems that the issue "triggers" when an application menu is closed
