[SOLVED] Cannot update system bis

I am resuming the following thread
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 4#p1672614
because it was declared solved. I have the same issues, except that I cannot remove Ubuntuone, which solved the other thread.

In relation to the last posts in the other thread for which I thank, tried this:

[franz@localhost ~]$ pacman -Qs ubuntu
local/python2-ubuntuone-storageprotocol 13.10-1
Library for the Ubuntu One storage protocol, which is written using google
protocol buffers, and some wrapper libraries in python
local/ubuntu-sso-client 13.10-1
Desktop service to allow applications to sign into Ubuntu services via SSO
local/ubuntuone-client 13.10-1
Ubuntu One helps you store, sync and share files between your computers
[franz@localhost ~]$ sudo pacman -Rs python2-ubuntuone-storageprotocol
[sudo] password for franz:
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: ubuntuone-client: removing python2-ubuntuone-storageprotocol breaks dependency 'python2-ubuntuone-storageprotocol'
[franz@localhost ~]$

as you see I'm getting the same error as well as when I try to update my system.

Re: [SOLVED] Cannot update system bis

You need to remove ubuntuone-client as well.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
