Since some Gnome apps (*cough*Quod Libet*cough*) don't come with .desktop files, thereby thwarting Menumaker, I'd like to set up the Gnome menu as a pipe menu... Evidently obm-xdg (provided by OBMenu from the AUR) can print out a menu, like this:

<openbox_pipe_menu>

But damned if I can figure out how to use obm-xdg in a pipe menu. Could someone help me with this?

add this to the menu.xml of your openbox
<menu execute="obm-xdg" id="xdg-menu" label="xdg"/>
