League of Legends, how does it work for you? I have minor bugs

FPS are totally fine, like 110/115 on average. I can't see almost any differce with windows on my current system.

I am just experiencing 2 minor bugs:

- When a game finishes it, just sometimes, crashes (bug splat window).
- Often, after a game finishes, it goes back to the client correctly but a portion (the chat) of the window is not displayed. It's just not there, like if the window was cut.

Has it the same behaviour with you? Someone fixed this problem? How is it working for you? Anyone tried the new client?

Thanks all,
Have a nice day

https://www.playonlinux.com/en/

Install Play on Linux.  It let's you have multiple versions of WINE installed at the same time.  You can choose which Windows programs to run with whichever version of WINE you want.  Some versions of WINE work better than others depending on the specific game.  Find a good one, WineHQ is a good place to start to see which version of WINE to try.

There is also CrossOver if you want to purchase a subscription to a commercial incarnation of WINE.  If you do that, the version you want is the generic Linux one that installs in your home folder.

I have League o Legends on Wine from this package:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wine-gaming-nine/

For me it working pretty good. I have only 2 issues:
1. LoL client can't shutdown, when I exit by clicking X window disappears, but process still run in background and eat CPU
2. New client didn't working. It crashing right after launch

I do not use Play on Linux - I have plain Wine with custom install prefix and environmental variables to make game use this version (if You want to know about it - please use man wine).

I tried man, it was my first try. But I didn't even get to launch it using that.

I use this https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/leagueoflegends/ but now that you tell me about that, I'll definitely give a try to this https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/leagueoflegends-git/ too, since looks like it's using wine-gaming-nine.

I didn't try the new client but I would not worry too much about it, many windows player are facing issues too, so go guess.

(1) same happening to me actually

New client working pretty good (with crashes sometimes) when It was Alpha. After update to Beta it stopped working. I don't know why, but on reddit (League of Linux) there are a lot of peoples which can't get new client to work.
