I'm trying to compile the Raydium game engine but it requires openal-devel, but i cannot seem to find it in the repos or aur and the only thing on the openal website is a stupid rpm package. Could someone point me to a g/bzipped package or PKGBUILD? Thanks.

If you can't find one you could consider using rpmextract inside your PKGBUILD

I don't know Raydium, but try installing
openal and freealut from the repository.

The openal package will contain the necessary headers for Raydium to compile against.
