[VGA passthrough] 8600GS passthrough to Win 10 - code 43

I am trying to passthrough an Nvidia 8600GS to Win 10 via KVM. But still getting the code 43

Alex Williams recommendation as of september 2016 seems to be:

No new Code 43 problems!
Workaround for NVIDIA Hyper-V detection "bug"

QEMU 2.5+, libvirt v1.3.3+

I use a GTX970 and use KVM directly qemu (not using libvirt) and didnt have the problem.

Could you post how do you use QEMU directly? I already tried it bug after installing Win 7 I am getting an BSOD at first boot.

I am getting 0x0000007E BSOD

Passthrough only works with an UEFI machine? I want it with a BIOS machine so I can use Win 7 32 bits.

Ehe It worked once with Win 10.... maybe it would be better to buy an AMD card for that?

dragonn : there are ways to use passthrough with seabios insted of uefi/omvf .
