[SOLVED] Updating initcpios onEFI system: specified kernel image...

Hello,

some upgrades trigger an update hook on my EFI system resulting in an error message like

:: Running post-transaction hooks...

Updating linux initcpios
==> Building image from preset: /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset: 'default'
-> -k /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/initramfs-linux.img
==> ERROR: specified kernel image does not exist: `/boot/vmlinuz-linux'
==> Building image from preset: /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset: 'fallback'
-> -k /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/initramfs-linux-fallback.img -S autodetect
error: command failed to execute correctly
Updating the info directory file...

Did I miss a configuration? Is my initramfs outdated? Thanks for any help!

It would be nice to know what you updated and with which command.
Did you made sure your boot partition is mounted before you started the update?

You are correct, the mount point was missing. I was under the impression that this would not be necessary on EFI systems.

Thanks for the quick help!
