Sound will not work - New Arch install

I have been trying to figure out how to enable sound on my new install, and can not get anything to work. I've tried using ALSA and Pulse with no luck.

Here is what I've tried so far:
* Adding an /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file with the following:
options snd-hda-intel index=1

* Adding an /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf with the following:
options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=auto vid=8086 pid=2284

EDIT:
* When I had Pulse installed, it would only show HDMI as available port when using pavucontrol to set playback devices.

Here is the following information about my set up:

Laptop: Chromebook c202s
Card: HDA Intel PCH
Chip: Intel Braswell HDMI

$ aplay -l

Re: Sound will not work - New Arch install

This is reliant on some patches from Chrome OS which aren't available in the normal kernel *yet*, there was a similar discussion with some findings in this thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=218728 however there was no definite result. You will have to try and find correct asound state files from chrome os
