Hi everyone, i've the error message NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#2 stuck for 23s! [plymouthd:305] on the startup of my system (even live-cd).
My pc is a dell inspiron 7559 with intel graphic and nvidia.
please help me...i don't want to use windows anymore

I had the same problem on my laptop. Post the output of 'cat /proc/asound/cards' You might have to disable hdmi audo for the snd_hda_intel driver.

If your machine is still usable, then you want to see 'man modinfo' and 'man modprobe.d'. You can also find guidance in the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kernel_modules

The install medium does certainly not come with plymouth, which at least seems to be involved here. Are you actually using arch linux?
