Mumble variable microphone quality

Hi,

I have a weird issue with Mumble. My buddies are complaining that the audio quality is horrible, but when I record myself, even with Mumble, the quality is really good.
I do not have this problem on Windows.

Also it seems that the quality is better when I'm the only one who talks, but not sure.

Any ideas?

Re: Mumble variable microphone quality

What's the quality of your internet connection, particularly outbound packet loss? I believe there was a way to measure this within mumble itself, but it has been a very long time since I've used the software.

Re: Mumble variable microphone quality

Well, I have gigabit fiber...
And the audio quality settings in Mumble are at maximum.
