Razer Core and Thunderbolt

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here I go. I'm attempting to get my Razer Core to work under Linux. I've seen it work under people that own an XPS 13, but I have yet to see it work with a Razer Blade Stealth.

I was wondering if It had anything to do with the Thunderbolt 3 NHI device on PCI Bus 4, because thats the only one that doesn't show a driver loaded, unless I'm completely misunderstanding everything.

I can't find a lot of information on this so any help is appreciated big_smile

Just chiming in here to say I'm having a similar issue with my XPS 13 9360 and a Powercolor Devil Box. My lspci output also includes the "System peripheral" entry, but no VGA controller to represent the graphics card. I've tried all manner of combinations of hotplugged and cold boot etc, but lspci resolutely refuses to show the graphics card.

Luke, upon further investigation, I've found out a few things for you to try. First, a warning, there are still several incompatibilities between various eGPU enclosures and laptops.
If you have windows available, check whether it works there. If it doesn't then you likely have an incompatibility somewhere, which can sometimes be fixed by updating the bios or the thunderbolt firmware.
Make sure to have updated your laptop's NVM (thunderbolt firmware). For now, this can only be done on windows. If that doesn't work, you might want to see if the eGPU enclosure has a firmware update available.
