Mentioned user has the same headphones as me. However, this is mostly an okay issue to live with in the grand scheme of things so I'm okay with it for now.
The main problem is that if I go to Youtube with my USB headphones set as the sink (with the little yellow icon in Pavucontrol set), 9 times out of 10 the video will load but won't begin to play. Eventually I will get the message "If playback doesn't begin shortly try restarting your device". If I change my sink to one of the others listed (HDMI), the video will immediately begin to play, and stall again if I set it back to USB.
I have tried going through most of the tips at: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu … leshooting and I have also tried setting my default sink and source in /etc/pulse/default.pa.
