[Solved] Signature mismatch when downloading packages

Hello all,

Yesterday I did a clean Archlinux install on my tablet, but now I am unable to download certain packages;

With the following package I receive an error:
xorg-fonts-misc,signature from "Andreas Radke <...>" is invalid.

With a lot of other packages I do not have any issues at all, but apparantely this signature does not work for me. I tried deleting the gnupg folder in pacman.d and initializing & populating the keyring and also issued the following after repopulating the keyring:

pacman-key --refresh-keys

command as suggsted on the forum with a similar issue.

Am I still doing something wrong or is there a more general issue with this specific key?

Thanks in advance!

Re: [Solved] Signature mismatch when downloading packages

Are you using `pacman -Syu`?  If so, try `pacman -Syyu`.  If you still get the error, you are likely using a very out of date mirror.  There was an issue with Andreas Radke's key breifly several months ago - but that has long since been resolved on any remotely active mirrors.

It seems you are right! The -Syyu option gave the same error. I selected the top mirror in the list for my country, after switching to another mirror the issue is no more.

Thank you!
