Asus Zenbook UX31A charging issue

Hi.

I have a weird issue with my laptop, specifically it's charger. When I'm running Arch, most of the time it won't charge, or even spontaneously shut down if I'm doing anything recorce-hungry (including, for example, playing gifs online!!)
I'm not sure if that's a hardware issue, because once the laptop is off it charges just fine.

How can I debug what's happening to rule out that Arch has nothing to do with it?

Try with another distro's live media or windows, that should help check if the problem is arch related or some hardware problem.
