Gnome 3 has some support for touchscreen laptops and tablets. The onscreen keyboard shows up automatically for GTK3 programs, however it doesn't show up in chrome. So, when I use my Lenovo Yoga 2 13'' in tablet mode, I can't type in chrome. Does anyone know any gesture/way to activate the keyboard in newest Gnome(3.22)?

There is a gnome extension called "On screen keyboard button" that might help. It doesn't respond to finger taps though, so I have to use the "Surface Pen" to trigger it. It's the closest I have been able to find so far
