[Solved] Red-shaded icons in all GTK2 widgets but not in GTK3

Hello there,

I am running in a strange bug since some days after installing my Arch system, maybe after an upgrade or something. The thing is that all icons inside GTK widgets, and also in the MATE widgets that I use, have turned red. Is my system controlled by Satan himself?

Here are some screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/QJcVb

I think that this issue only happens with GTK2 software but not GTK3. For example the nm-applet is using the good colors and according to the (horrible) huge menu size when I click on it I guess nm-applet is GTK3. Other software such as GIMP which is GTK2 (like almost everything else in the MATE desktop) is using red-shaded icons.

Whatever icon theme I use, it is red shaded in GTK2 software (tested Adwaita and Faenza). I am using redshift but without it I have the same bug (and the shade is too red to be redshift anyways).

Do you have any clue about where I should dig to remove this funny red shade?

Thanks.

Whoops, just found the same topic after posting this one: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=221169

The llvm-libs downgrade works as a temporary fix. Marking as solved.
