When I play a video (typically mkv), if I pause and resume the video, there is a very loud click on resume. To the point of being painful in my ears if I'm wearing headphones.
I posted an issue on the mpv bug tracker, but they think it's a problem with hardware.
I use a Presonus Audiobox USB sound interface.
My hope was that I could somehow disable power saving on the sound interface, because it sounds like the interface is powering itself off and on. Unfortunately I can't find any way to do this.
Anyone have an idea?
edit: I'm using Pulseaudio!
