[SOLVED] KDE plasma apps, icons, menus and fonts render poorly

Hi, I'm having some rendering problems in KDE 5 menus and fonts from plasma apps.

Until yesterday I had no problem with having some pixeled menus or buttons, but yesterday I did a full system upgrade and found out that one of the apps I use 24/7 (Okular) was rendering it's fonts poorly.

For the moment I've made some research and I think that it's got something to do with using Qt5. The previous version of Okular that I had was based on Qt4 and it rendered perfectly (as did the menus of my plasma desktop when I had plasma 4).

I tried to install Infinality patches to solve this, but it didn't work and I haven't found any active bugs on this so I don't know how to fix it. Could anybody help?

As I don't know which information you may need, If I'm skipping something just ask for it.

Thanks a lot!

Can you post a picture?

Things of the top of head to try:
- Check if desktop scaling is enabled: System Settings -> Display and Monitor -> Scale Display (Button at bottom)
- Can also try launching a non-running application from the terminal prefixed with QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1 to see if the problem persists, e.g. "QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1 okular"
- Make sure you're not using some random fallback font in Fonts - just check what comes up when you do "Choose..." on one of the fonts.
