I want to change the default encrypted directory, but am unable to do so.
According to the wiki article, I had to move the directory and change the path in a configuration file, "right after the setup command has finished running".
But I hadn't read that part, and I logged out and logged back in. Now, when I attempt to move, it says:
$ mv ~/Private /path/to/new/private/directory
mv: cannot move '/home/user/Private' to '/path/to/new/private/directory': Permission deniedCan I still do something, or do I have to live with this? (of course, short of doing
$ ecryptfs-setup-private --undoor is that the simplest way?)
