Hey again.
I am using arch here with gnome. Unfortunately gnome has no Dock, so I installed dash-to-dock.
Strangely enough the dock was relative laggy and a bit buggy. It doesn't always show when my cursor goes to the edge. Sometimes I had to minimize all windows to see the dock again.
So I installed plank and It's working good. ![]()
I just asked myself is there a chance to delete the whole dash from gnome(not the extension)?
Is there a possibility that plank adds the favorites automatic like the dash does? If not maybe I can delete the context menu "add to favorites"?

Pity, a second dock (dash) in my System is a thorn in my side. ![]()
No (easy) chance to uninstall It, hm?
If plank could automaticly add the favorites, there would at least a use for the possiblity to add apps to the favorite.

You can definitely remove dash with appropriate gnome-shell extension.
I have no idea whether such extension exists or if you'd have to write it yourself though.
