Apache 2.2 testing vs. current

I seem to remember there being a good reason Apache 2.2 is in testing and not current.  However, I can't seem to find the thread that talked about it.

Could someone refresh my memory?

IIRC, it was in the ML. I think it was in testing because it didn't worked with some (python?) modules. You could try searching in the ML archive to get the thread.

Yes, it was some problem with mod-python that is still unresolved.

Thanks - I knew I read it somewhere...just forgot where.

Since we don't use python, we'll give it a shot and upgrade one of our test boxes.

It looks like the latest development version (3.2.9) of mod_python does have support for apache 2.2.  For some reason though it hasn't been "released".
