While trying out etckeeper, I had the .gitignore file open in GVim which I did not realise. I opened it again, and it was empty, and I believe it might have said I had no permission for it. I closed it, and saw my GVim that I had open. I recall it might have asked me if I wanted to update the file, I just cancelled and closed GVim. Next time I opened GVim, the font was broken. I am normally using Tewi bitmap font, but it didn't work anymore, it fell back to some ugly font. Same was for my terminal that I use Tewi in.
I uninstalled etckeeper and didn't want to mess with that anymore, but my font issue remains.
To make it simple: I have Tewi (from AUR) and terminus-font installed. Neither of these work. Both show up in fc-list, but neither of them can be found in the Gvim font selection.
Anyone have any idea?
Edit: Only bitmap fonts seem affected. Tewi and Terminus does not work, but Hack does.
Edit2: SOLVED Look at this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comm … m/dc698h0/
It sais the guy had to put `xos4` before it, which makes sense. Check this out: https://gist.github.com/6f5526c2f2f035a … 36f2ceae46
For terminus it sais `xos4` for tewi it sais `lucy`. Which means I have to write `lucy tewi` instead of `tewi`.
