Hi,
Yesterday, I decided to install pacaur to easily install cura package from AUR.
Even if my system was up to date, I did "pacaur -Syu" to see how it works. But 3 packages were printed :
-python-path
-qt5-enginio
-bijiben
python-path and qt5-enginio are in the AUR. bijiben does not exist.
I don't remember to install python-path and qt5-enginio. And i think bijiben was installed with GNOME.
How did this happens ?
Can a package be migrated from official repos to AUR ?
If a package can be migrated from official repos to AUR, how can it be noticed ?

Packages can be moved to AUR or removed entirely.
Packages that are no longer needed as dependencies are orphans.

Hi teateawhy,
Packages that are no longer needed as dependencies are orphans.
I'm not sure orphans packages are exactly what I'm searching, because it will match packages which are not dependent to other packages. For example, final software like VLC, wget, wireshark, ...
But why during "pacman -Syu" (when pacman refresh list of packages from repos) there is not a note about installed package which are no more supported officially like optional dependencies when you install a new package ?
