KDE Network Manager - Creating a WIFI Shared Connection

I'm running the latest KDE network manager version.

I can connect to wifi or wired connection with no problems.

Also I can use the create_ap script to create an access point with my computer to connect my mobile phone to it.

So no restrictions on the wireless card and it seems all the software required is available (hostap and dnsmasq).

Still in KDE network manager if I create an WIFI shared connection, the connect button (for starting up the AP) never is enabled.

I've tried several combinations of the configuration, but none works.

Any ideas why?
