pacman --pretend

Hi,

is there a --pretend feature for pacman?
So that it just prints what it wants to do...

It would be very nice for using the output in scripts/superkaramba!

Thank you,

Daniel

No, but there is a search feature in the forum:

http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … an+pretend

Your question answered, before you post it. How cool is that?  tongue

I'm pretty sure:

pacman --help

or

man pacman

would give you all the commands pacman has, and "pretend" isn't one of theme. But as Penguin said above, just use N when it asked for a comfirmination and it won't install anything tongue
