Please read. I said the codecs should have been uploaded to testing, as libstdc++5 lives there.
So the old package should go back into current/extra, and the new codecs package should go into testing, hence a bug report is needed to notify the maintainer

It' fixed in codecs 20060501-3
The previous one depended on libstdc++5 which is in testing.
