Mozilla is planning removal of "advanced theming" in Firefox. This will kill things like firefox-gnome.
Firefox-gnome stopped working on the project.
As an alternative:
You can just install: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo … -plus-sma/
Then you put this in ~/.mozilla/firefox/cjqhvp8j.default/chrome/userChrome.css
#titlebar-min, #titlebar-max
{ display: none !important; }
#minimize-button, #restore-button
{ display: none !important; }
#close-button
{
margin-top: 2px !important;
margin-right: 2px !important;
width: 24px !important;
height: 24px !important;
}
And it will look like this:

Not perfect (seems to only work with Adwaita) but ok for me (you need to play with sma options).
Now, next question is, will SMA compatible with next firefox versions? Until?

Did they really stop working on Gnome integration altogether?
I know the main heavy-theme frefox-gnome will not be further developed (for the above stated reason) but there has been a bug report for that on firefox-gnome for quite a while now (https://github.com/gnome-integration-te … issues/394).
Also, the team has had a new repository for a CSS based style for a while now as well; https://github.com/gnome-integration-te … -gnome-css.

I just want this bug [Linux/Gnome] Drawing in the Title Bar for the new Firefox theme to be solved firstly by upstream.
