Abiword is flickering (Gnome shell)

Hello everyone,

I've just installed Abiword and I've noticed a little bug regarding the ui : when the cursor hovers the top bar, the background of the editor frame flickers. I am using Arch with Gnome shell 3.22 and the xf86-video-intel driver.

Have you ever met the same bug ? Should I file this bug ?

Try uxa acceleration with the xf86-video-intel or remove the intel driver althoughether and use Xorg's built in modesetting driver.

Mmh, seems to be much slower than sna, I think I'll make do with that flickering, it's not that bad. Thanks though !

May I suggest removing the xf86-video-intel driver AND your Xorg's 20-intel.conf, file then rebooting? That seems to fix most of the flickering problems with Intel CPU/GPUs at present....
