To Beyond Kernel Maintainer

Hello,

The PWC driver in your kernel is problematic.... Renaming and copying the new driver from which pacman already have solves the problem... If I plug the webcam, it automatically modprobes the old driver which is somewhat buggy.. I installed the pwc driver with pacman but modprobe couldn't find that driver.. So I recompiled it with the PKGBUILD (again modprobe didn't see it), and copied the pwc.ko file onto the old one...

Now I can use my Logitech Quickcam Zoom webcam... Please patch or do whatever to beyond, so it supports the new PWC driver..

Thanks a lot..

You should post a bug in the bug tracker. The dev will be notified.
Dev don't (can't) always look at the forum.

But James (iphitus) generally does spend a fair bit of time on the forums. Still, the suggestion to use the bug tracker is sound.

It's an Arch package - use the Arch tracker.
