Extend Installation wiki

Hi

The installation wiki is not complete with a remark to update the pacman signatures first.

Please include a note that when trust errors occur on the pacstrap command to first issue:

pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring

before logging a question in the forum or bugs. (like I did)

It would make the installation experience of arch a tad better.

archlinux on a Gigabyte C1037UN-EU, 16GiB
a Promise  PDC40718 based ZFS set
root on a Samsung SSD PB22-J
running LogitechMediaServer(-git), Samba, MiniDLNA, TOR

Re: Extend Installation wiki

As I mentioned in your other thread, you only need this if you're using an old ISO

Question: What if the ISO is released on 1/1/17 but due to dev or tu sign an update for the archlinux-keyring on 3/1/17 happend revoking lets say one of the dev keys, in that case an update will need like that example or pacman will detect automagically and not complain??

Re: Extend Installation wiki

Pacman in the live environment would still accept those packages.

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … --populate

However, the Installation guide is not the place for workarounds.
