Hey, I use libinput as touchpad driver and I think it causes my laptop to freeze sometimes. The freeze indeterministically occurs iff I close the lid (which causes the laptop to suspend to RAM) and open it again after some time. This only happens rarely, most of the times when I open the lid, everything works as expected. The freeze is a black screen and it is not possible to switch to a tty.
The reason why I think libinput is the problem, is because the Xorg.0.log shows in the last line the error:
[ 5086.062] (EE) libinput bug: timer offset negative (-78702)
Any idea how I could prevent this bug? I should also note that I use libinput 1.5.4-1, instead of 1.6, because 1.6 caused many problems. Any chance, this bug might be fixed in the uptodate version?

I've been having the same issue in the last week or so. My laptop will freeze, with the HDD activity light on solid, and I need to force a power off.
The last lines of my logs are (with a few unrelated entries omitted):

I should note I have extra/libinput 1.7.2-1 and extra/xf86-input-libinput 0.25.1-1 installed.
