When I connect my xbox one controller to my laptop, the LED light just keeps blinking.
The xbox one controller should've been working since Linux kernel 3.4 or something like that. I am running version 4.4, so I have the xbox one drivers in my kernel.
I have installed the newest xboxdrv.
xboxdrv does't find my contoller.
Does anyone know where I could get more information about why it's not connecting? The only thing I found so far was this:
feb 09 23:10:51 kernel: usb 3-2: new full-speed USB device number 13 using xhci_hcd
feb 09 23:10:51 kernel: input: Microsoft X-Box One pad (Covert Forces) as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/input/input44
feb 09 23:10:51 mtp-probe[17340]: checking bus 3, device 13: "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb3/3-2"
feb 09 23:10:51 mtp-probe[17340]: bus: 3, device: 13 was not an MTP device
Since it's not a storage device, it's no wonder it isn't a MTP device.
So my system does recognize the controller. It's "just" xboxdrv.
Thanks in advance!

When I updated to the 4.9 LTS kernel, I didn't have my problem anymore which kept me from updating my kernel in the past.
Now I've updated, the controller works just fine!
