Thinkpad E470 Trackpoint scrolling not working

Hello,

I can't get the scrolling button work with the trackpoint. I've followed the wiki about the Trackpoint including installing the f86-input-evdev and xf86-input-libinput, but it didn't helped.

To be sure that the button is really working I've executed xinput test "TPPS/2 IBM TrackPoint". The click buttons 1 and 3 are working. The scroll button however does not show up on a click. My notebook is a new Thinkpad E470.

Is my scroll button broke or did I've forgot anything?

Regards

Re: Thinkpad E470 Trackpoint scrolling not working

I'm a bit helpless to identify the cause of this problem. My xinput props for the Trackpoint are:

$ xinput list-props 14
Device 'TPPS/2 IBM TrackPoint':
    Device Enabled (139):    1
    Coordinate Transformation Matrix (141):    1.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 1.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 1.000000
    libinput Accel Speed (274):    0.500000
libinput Accel Speed Default (275):    0.000000
    libinput Accel Profiles Available (276):    1, 1
    libinput Accel Profile Enabled (277):    1, 0
libinput Accel Profile Enabled Default (278):    1, 0
libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled (279):    0
libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled Default (280):    0
libinput Send Events Modes Available (259):    1, 0
libinput Send Events Mode Enabled (260):    0, 0
libinput Send Events Mode Enabled Default (261):    0, 0
libinput Left Handed Enabled (281):    0
libinput Left Handed Enabled Default (282):    0
    libinput Scroll Methods Available (283):    0, 0, 1
    libinput Scroll Method Enabled (284):    0, 0, 1
    libinput Scroll Method Enabled Default (285):    0, 0, 1
libinput Button Scrolling Button (286):    0
libinput Button Scrolling Button Default (287):    0
    Device Node (262):    "/dev/input/event15"
    Device Product ID (263):    2, 10
    libinput Drag Lock Buttons (290):    <no items>
libinput Horizontal Scroll Enabled (291):    1

I tried almost every possibility from Thinkwiki, but I couldn't get it work. Other configs like this one also didn't worked. I would like to save the pain from installing Windows on another partition just only to look if the middle button is working.
